Open Educational Resources Africa

  • OER Africa is a ground-breaking initiative established by the South African Institute for Distance Education (Saide).

    • They play a leading role in supporting higher education institutions across Africa in the development and use of Open Educational Resources (OER) to enhance teaching and learning.

    • The website contains guides to using Open Education Resources and tips for finding and downloading them.

S.A.L.V.E International

  • S.A.L.V.E. International is a UK and Ugandan based charity supporting children out of homelessness in Uganda.         S.A.L.V.E international has provided a helpful guide to the education system in Uganda. 

Uganda Ministry for Education and Sports

  • Visit the website of Uganda's Ministry for Education and Sports to read and download reports on educational and sporting projects currently underway in the counrty.

Ugandan Curriculum Resources

  • TESSA provide free learning resources designed specifically for use within the Ugandan Education system.

    • All the materials available here have been created and adapted by national experts, contextualized by Ugandan partners in line with the national curriculum to ensure that they are culturally appropriate.  

    • Modules available include Life skills, literacy, numeracy, science, social science and the arts for Primary children and science for secondary.
